The featured guest at our September meeting was Adam Crowson, formerly with the Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin and now with the Restoring Hope Transplant House.
Located in Middleton, Restoring Hope provides comfortable, affordable lodging for transplant patients and their caregivers while they receive care at Madison-area hospitals.
This nonprofit offers a welcoming home away from home, where families can find support and connect with others facing similar challenges.
Annual Plant and Wreath Sale
Fundraising makes Madison Lions Club's community service possible.
Support our work by ordering plants and wreaths through our annual sale.
Plants are available in five pot sizes, from 5 to 10 inches, with prices
ranging from $13 to $60. Color choices vary by size and include red,
white, pink, marble, and red glitter (Jingle Bells).
Wreaths are available in 24-inch ($35), 36-inch ($55), and 48-inch ($70) sizes.

Project of the Month, November 2026: Vision Screening
Helping protect sight has always been a cornerstone of Lions service, and this November we are highlighting one of our most important projects: free vision screening.
Madison Lions Club has supported children's vision screening for more than 30 years, investing in equipment and working with neighboring clubs to reach more families.
That cooperation continues this November, with a busy schedule of children's screening events listed on the calendar on our vision screening page.
While we provide vision screening for adults, our primary focus is on children, helping identify potential vision problems early, while their sight is still developing.
Young children may not realize that they see differently from anyone else.
Trained Lions volunteers use specialized screening cameras that do not require children to read an eye chart.
Our commitment to healthy vision also extends to adults. Madison Lions Club
volunteers screen adults at the Latino Health Fair at Luther Memorial Church
in Madison on September 9, 2023.
Lions are best known for helping preserve sight and hearing. We
support children's vision screening programs, collect used
eyeglasses and hearing aids, and assist community members in need.
Madison Lions Club proudly supports adaptive rock climbing
opportunities for people with disabilities. Through partnerships
with volunteers, guides, and community organizations, participants
can experience the challenge and camaraderie of outdoor climbing.
