Service Projects
The Madison Lions Club is dedicated to serving our community through a variety of hands-on service projects and charitable programs. Some projects have been part of our club for decades, while others respond to current needs in the Madison area. Members are encouraged to participate in as many projects as their interests and schedules allow.
Vision Services
Lions are best known for their commitment to preventing blindness and helping people with vision loss. Our club provides vision screenings, assists people who need eyeglasses, and collects used eyeglasses for recycling and redistribution to those in need around the world.

Stuff the Bus
Each summer, Madison Lions Club members participate in the Stuff the Bus school supply drive. Donations of backpacks and school supplies help ensure that local students begin the school year with the tools they need to succeed.
Highway Cleanup
Several times each year, club members help keep our community beautiful by cleaning litter from our adopted section of highway. This hands-on project provides a visible community service while helping protect the local environment.
High School Scholarships
The Madison Lions Club supports graduating high school seniors through annual scholarship awards. Scholarships recognize students who have demonstrated academic achievement, leadership, and service to their communities.
Ronald McDonald House
Club members regularly prepare and serve dinners at the Ronald McDonald House, providing a home-cooked meal for families whose children are receiving medical care. This long-standing project gives members an opportunity to directly support families during difficult times.
Wisconsin Adaptive Climbing
The Madison Lions Club is proud to sponsor Wisconsin Adaptive Climbing, a program that makes rock climbing accessible to people with disabilities. Through indoor climbing clinics, outdoor climbing events, and volunteer support, participants experience the challenge, confidence, and enjoyment of climbing alongside friends and family.
